A couple years ago, around this time of the year, renal colic pain struck me. I was forced to bed, even won a ride to the A&E. Alongside the excruciating pain, I also had to stop working – and doing pretty much everything else – for a few days.
That experience got me thinking about how we tend to take physical health and performance for granted. Sucked in modern living, we stopped thinking of the physical body as a sacred temple – which is exactly what it is.
